Also loved how the collection is dedicated to Mama Africa, An Ode to Miriam ab fab!. I sure would be proud wearing one of these creations and would feel really authentic as i am a creative person..lol

can someone pls tell me how multicoloured tights, patched leather skirt and what i can only asume to be silk blouses be the reason to theme a show “mama africa”… where is the according to the piece describing the collection “values of pride, authenticity and creativity”, just a few patches of ankara here and there…pleeeease co’mon..
While I think the collection is beautiful with lovely detailing, I agree with Mamasita Diva on the too-little reference to African wear.

LUV the patchwork skirt and the blouse…would so wear them (even like the colour clash). Aleks dress is great too. Much better than MOMOs collection.
