Nollywood star Monalisa Chinda offers fans a peek into her life via a new set of videos uploaded to her official account on video sharing site, YouTube. The home videos were shot while Monalisa was in the United States of America on holiday and for the premiere of “Unguarded“.

this is just too weird. that woman behind the camera sha. “shake your bumbum” this is really creepy and for monalisa to release this sha. is she trying to tell us she’s interesting and fun (she seems quite boring). she doesn’t have to do this, just stay away from the spotlight and perfect your acting and directing skills, and look after your children.

Seriously???? Do we really have to go down this route??? This is what’s wrong with most Africans. Some people limit their brain to only think inside the box. When is it a crime for celebs or anyone else to post their personal home videos without it being associated with trying to copy another? These videos are nowhere near reality show videos. They were never titled ‘Reality Show” videos. They are personal moments of Monalisa Chinda which she wanted to share with her fans who do not get to see her outside acting. But then again, we live in a world where celebs are not allowed to go the extra mile to please their fans because of negative comments as we have seen/read here. For those who commented that Nollywood celebs will now copy talk show or reality show after Omotola’s, I just have one question to ask though… who really started Reality Show/Talk Show Series in the world??? Entertainment is a recycle process. .
What gave her the inflated opinion that her fans are interested in these personal moments of hers?
These artistes seem to have their heads screwed the wrong way. What most fans want are you to provide works that meet their taste and desires and be warm and responsive when they meet you in public (cos you are human, you are allowed to be irritable once in a while). Besides those,most fans are not interested in all these crap. Whether you wore a million dollar dress, rode in a limo or flew business class is irrelevant to most sane fans. Truth be told, these photos and videos are distributed in the public domain in order to massage the egos of these stars and have very little to do with their fans.
Take a moment and notice that real talents are busy improving their craft and skills. Guess those who are busy with all inundating us with photo shoots and videos?
