Ist! Yay! Love the pics!….ok so I haven’t been watching the show. Waiting on all the comments :-)

  • Rosarii Gberikon January 10, 2013 at 11:01 am

The show isn’t reality to me. More of a documentary. she should do less narration, and just let the camera’s roll. She should check out the kardashians for ideas. that’s more realistic.

    • Dammy January 10, 2013 at 11:41 am

I totally agree with you., she should narrate less, then maybe say a little after a part or after a scene but its good, something different

    • dami January 10, 2013 at 11:52 am

perhaps form the hangle you are looking at it from, for me, there is every bit of realness in it. it really show her every day life and i must say that it is an interesting one.

      • Bleed blue January 10, 2013 at 12:47 pm

        “hangle” ke?

      • mawa January 10, 2013 at 1:19 pm

Even in writing your “H” factor shines through….Aiyetoro KAANI!!!! I hail!!!

      • anu January 10, 2013 at 2:47 pm

      • Ngozi January 10, 2013 at 5:24 pm

H’i H’agree with you wellu wellu LOL

    • Bunmi January 10, 2013 at 12:52 pm

Thanks for such a beautifull comment her docu-reality show is way too boring. Yawns.

    • Cho26 January 10, 2013 at 2:43 pm

I especially couldn’t relate to the part of her shedding tears when she was in France (i think) and she on the phone with her son who told her he was missing her. Am like is she for real? Crying cos your son said he’s missing you? Omo na naija we dey abeg!!!!

      • keechi January 16, 2013 at 7:38 am

LMAOOOO!!! But in case u dont know, there are some naija parents who love their kids very very much and EXPRESS it to them. That’s the thing with our naija parents, they love us but have a weird way of showing it…they cant express it coz that’s not how they were raised. But it’s a new generation my friend. But I understand you.

      • Deebs January 18, 2013 at 3:34 am

Just because you can’t doesnt mean no other Nigerian can. I can totally relate and I am Nigerian as well.

    • Warri Girl January 10, 2013 at 3:21 pm

      I agree with you

    • Preshbee January 10, 2013 at 3:23 pm

My thoughts exactly, she’s just acting a script. There’s no spontaneity in what she’s doing, all planned out activities.

  • Sparkle January 10, 2013 at 11:03 am

First to comment!! Yiiipeeeee!!! Oya, peeps let’s hear your opinions. *waiting*

  • VonT January 10, 2013 at 11:10 am

I think d show is over scripted, tho Omotola is always lookin glamorous.

  • ForestM January 10, 2013 at 11:16 am

Very unrealistic! did’nt enjoy the show i must confess! i believe she should stick with her role as an actress! ‘Omotola the real me”- there’s absolutely nothing real about your character. i thought i would see more of actions rather than narrations. But very nice Production anyways!

  • Chi January 10, 2013 at 11:18 am

No reality about the show. She should take a cue from the Kardashians. The whole thing is scripted and looks like she is acting. We want to see her in her natural element- at home, interacting with family, basically her day to day life activities not just the glamourous side of things. I watched two episodes and stopped watching. One positive thing though – she looked stunning in both episodes I saw.

    • Lilz January 10, 2013 at 12:26 pm

you just wrote my mind..i watched it just twice and could not stand it any longer…its far from real and BORING!!!!!

    • deji January 10, 2013 at 12:43 pm

I best to defer, the way i look at it, it is her real every day life, not scripted at all, the show is da bomb.

      • brittany January 10, 2013 at 2:11 pm

        *beg

      • Amazeballs! January 10, 2013 at 2:18 pm

Im assuming you meant to say i “beg” to “differ”?

    • Berry Dakara formerly Choco Latte January 10, 2013 at 1:59 pm

      What you said!

  • kelly January 10, 2013 at 11:18 am

She is beautiful no doubt but its definitely not a reality show. Shows just the glamorous side of her. I hardly watch it now especially because she laughs unnecessarily during the narrations and she’s just acting the whole thing through, making it so nauseatingly fake.

    • Chinel January 10, 2013 at 11:57 pm

lol @ “so nauseatingly fake”. I can only imagine……………….if only I can understand the purpose of having a reality show that doesn’t portray the realities of life. There are people who would have appreciated the time, attention and benefit put into this.

  • ruth January 10, 2013 at 11:21 am

its d worse reality show av cin,dts if i shud call it a reality show o!in d episode i watched her son & husband wr camera cautious as if dey wr acting drama.

  • Amazeballs! January 10, 2013 at 11:21 am

Not watched the show but she looks gorg in these pics!!

  • ForestM January 10, 2013 at 11:28 am

Very unrealistic! did’nt enjoy the show i must confess! i believe she should stick with her role as an actress! ‘Omotola the real me”- there’s absolutely nothing real about your character. i thought i would see more of actions rather than narrations. But very nice Production anyways!

  • toya January 10, 2013 at 11:31 am

i have bin watching and it doesnt look real @all, she doesnt even sound real.more like she’s faking and trying to hard.+ her pants r 2 tight coz everytime she gets up she always has to pull up to. And i love her coz she’s always laughing *cute*

  • amara January 10, 2013 at 11:34 am

    total waste of time

  • Lek January 10, 2013 at 11:35 am

    stupid show………………………………………i dnt enjoy it

  • Funke January 10, 2013 at 11:36 am

I watch the show mainly for makeup, hair and Omotola’s styling inspiration and she hasn’t failed at all. I love love her accessories as well.

As per the show though, I would love to see the real Omotola, as in unscripted scenes.

    Still watching. Lovely pictures.

  • Opsy January 10, 2013 at 11:37 am

Kids have invaded Bellanaija. They always want to be the first to comment and are not ashamed to state it like the juvies they are are. Their comments are full of hate and sourgrape-like. I miss the mature readers.

    • K January 10, 2013 at 12:47 pm

Are you saying mature readers can’t disagree? Why does maturity have to equate with “being nice?| That is a fallacy. Sure, people could be more tactful in expressing opinions, but again, that is a CHOICE they make. It is only sycophants who only say nice things all the time. Choices choices. This is not a fan page. And instead of moaning, either go to a “mature” blog somewhere else, or post your own positive opinions so readers can have another POV instead of coming to preach fallacies.

      • Bunmi January 10, 2013 at 12:54 pm

Thanks for such a beautiful comment her docu-reality show is way too boring. Yawns.

    • Chum chum January 10, 2013 at 3:32 pm

what are you talking about? just answer BN question and stop this ur juvies story here.

    • alero January 11, 2013 at 2:05 pm

Adults or matured people dont say “Juvies”, they say Juvenile. #duh#

  • tl January 10, 2013 at 11:37 am

she said it all in the last pic>>>>>>>>>BORING!

  • some hater January 10, 2013 at 11:38 am

very scripted show. it comes off as very fake and uninteresting. if she adopts more elements of fun or something it would be more interesting to watch. if this is the real her, then she’s boring AF!

  • Dolled up January 10, 2013 at 11:39 am

Didn’t find it interesting. Too scripted and way too much Narration for my taste.

  • Kemisola January 10, 2013 at 11:39 am

I think the episodes should be online so fans outside Nigeria can watch and critique as well

    • faithm January 10, 2013 at 11:56 am

I watched the first 2 episodes on youtube.u can check them out there.
As for the show,BORING is a nice way to put it,very fake and scripted.the 2nd episode had me rofl like really! Reality show ko,the fake omotola ni.

  • wise fool January 10, 2013 at 11:41 am

Too few celebrities in Nigeria…same names recycled over and over again. I tire

  • obi-talk January 10, 2013 at 11:42 am

Its GOOD, I always watch it when it comes on but it would be better if it showed more of her home life, her kids and dealing with family issues. Cause Nigerian extended family can be interesting most times. Like we would like to know if she has a gate-man, who are her neighbours does she attend her children’s sport events and stuff like that. that’s what makes great reality TV. that’s what people want to watch.

    • emmyjah January 10, 2013 at 12:46 pm

Well said!,The show didn’t just click at all.Just selling her personality and not entertaining me.

  • Banke January 10, 2013 at 11:44 am

    Lovely pictures and lovely makeup.

I’m on the fence about the ‘realness’ of the show. Some scenes you can tell was scripted and some not like the guy at the airport praising Omotla. That was clearly spontaneous and on point. It’s good entertainment, I’ll keep watching.

  • marbie January 10, 2013 at 11:44 am

The nice part of the show is the fact that she always looks goergeous but she needs to relax and make It more natural and the camera men still have a lot of work to do,they need to learn how to tilt their camerras well. The editors should also sit up and do a great job because her fans deserve the best

  • Kiki January 10, 2013 at 11:48 am

Think she’s so fake on the show and always looking glamorous!
I watched one episode where she in England, went to a caribbean show and some black dude was hitting on her, funny the dude had no idea who she was!
Then I wondered where is she a celebrity, Only Naija not the world like the Kardashians!

    • Rukky January 10, 2013 at 12:21 pm

Oh shut up! OMOTOLA IS KNOWN EVERYWHERE!!! She’s not real but they put that in the show? Even Beyonce wasn’t known by the dancers who came to do the ” who run the world” dance! HATER -.

    • deji January 10, 2013 at 12:34 pm

The fact is Omotola is a super duper star, so what is your point, some will even ask you who is Obama when asked who he is, but that doesn’t mean he’s not a known figure. stop the hate, omosexsy is a star and you know it.

    • Laide January 10, 2013 at 7:17 pm

And pls do we knw you? Noo

  • pynk January 10, 2013 at 11:49 am

i like the piece of hair in front.

  • dami January 10, 2013 at 11:50 am

the show has been one exciting and love lovely one, i most especially love it because of the realness in it. The total package is awesome.

  • amy January 10, 2013 at 11:53 am

its all acting esp in that episode with the PA it was obvious it was just fake…good concept tho,but they should drop the acting if its reality…

  • david January 10, 2013 at 11:54 am

watching how the successful actress cope with her career and her family is really amazing, it really showed how great and a wonderful woman she is.

  • SAT January 10, 2013 at 11:54 am

    At best, rubbish!!!

  • GOLD January 10, 2013 at 11:54 am

sincerely i think the show is borin.its a pity that this is comin from me coz i love omtola but the show is so fake.i don`t love the omotola i see in the show.prefer her in her films.she speaks to fast and in a very unsexy way.pls do some thing abt it

  • tope January 10, 2013 at 11:56 am

i love every minute of the show mainly because of the fact that it’s real, i wonder why anyone will say otherwise.

  • bigzgal January 10, 2013 at 12:00 pm

I have seen some episodes of d show but am not feeling it yet. She is just showing us the glamorous life of a movie star. We want to see the real omotola not another Nollywood movie jare, we want to see her aS wife and mother…we want see her doing chores, we want see how she takes her kids to school,we want to see her settle squabbles among her kids and many more. This is a reality TV show and not a docu drama. She should take a look at Kimora’s Kadashian’s and many more. We are getting bored! But thank God for make-up and hair sha, at least we something to look forward to if d content is flat.

  • oyeniyi omolola January 10, 2013 at 12:00 pm

D fact is d program is nt realistic @ all n it meant 2 be a reality show, it shouldn’t be all abt her alone, it should be abt her hubby n kids, I think she is not getting it, she shd try n learn 4rm Tia n Tamara show, I guess she W̶̲̥̅̊ȋ̊ƪƪ improve,

  • Ida January 10, 2013 at 12:02 pm

  • Emem January 10, 2013 at 12:11 pm

Not watched it but the whole world can’t be wrong about it being not so real. So Omotola take the criticisms constructively and ignore the hateful words

  • EMMY GIRL January 10, 2013 at 12:15 pm

pls bella niger i really wish to watch it can u pls help upload it.thanks

  • Stephanie January 10, 2013 at 12:17 pm

The show is like crap. Its’ extremely very boring and unrealistic. Its obvious she’s just acting out. It’s kinda sad cause i expected much from the show. I personally used to see her in high regard and all. But as a result of the show am just cin a very fake, selfish and unrealistic individual. It’s far from a reality show, it’s just an advertisement of herself. She should have just stuck to acting!

  • lps January 10, 2013 at 12:18 pm

Wow @ most comments..Can we watch on youtube?

  • chy January 10, 2013 at 12:23 pm

I think the show is so wack and scripted, the two times I watched it she was either on a tour to ghana or to jamaica, if this is omotola the real me, what time do you have for your family? Its so damn fake

  • nomsy January 10, 2013 at 12:25 pm

  • femi January 10, 2013 at 12:29 pm

    • Person pikin January 10, 2013 at 3:20 pm

  • aanu January 10, 2013 at 12:31 pm

my perception about the show is that is is the best show and the most anticipated show ever that i have ever watched. I always look forward to seeing it every week, never has that happened tome in the past with any other show. Hers is extra ordinary cos she is an extra ordinary being.

  • anthony January 10, 2013 at 12:40 pm

what do i think about the show? i think it is the best show in the land, why in the world should any one argue that?

  • bose adekunle January 10, 2013 at 12:40 pm

Omotola is our African Kimora Lee Simmon (owner of KLS or FAB LANE)……she’s hot and interesting to watch. I never miss her show…love it

  • cindy January 10, 2013 at 12:41 pm

I advice she stop the show,is very unrealistic and not interesting @all. Naija people shuld stop coping oyibos ,if we cant do it let do our own.

  • anthony January 10, 2013 at 12:42 pm

Anything omotola touches is sure to be a success, BN, this is rather a question that has an obvious answer, THE SHOW IS FABULOUS.

  • rachelle January 10, 2013 at 12:43 pm

her makeup is fine. but i dont think it will last. it doesnt wow me at all

  • adesanya January 10, 2013 at 12:46 pm

Ofcos the show is outta this world. I come home early to watch the new episode every Thursdays, even though i have to sacrifice something at work cos i just cannot miss it, must not be told about it at all and believe me, it’s been worth it.

  • May January 10, 2013 at 12:50 pm

2 words to describe the show, Not Real!! She should let things flow. We are not dumb, we don’t need a narrative. Plus, its all about work work work, no family life, no embarassing moments! She wakes up in the morning looking camera ready! Oh come on!!! The show should be renamed, omotola, my glam life! On to the next please.

  • gloria January 10, 2013 at 12:52 pm

All i can say is “amazing woman doing amazing things”.

  • daniel January 10, 2013 at 12:54 pm

i dont think there is any other thespian i love as much as i love omotola, there is just something unique about her, love the show dieeeeeeeeeeeee.

  • Bode January 10, 2013 at 12:55 pm

  • faith January 10, 2013 at 12:56 pm

Even if i am in the hospital bed, i will certainly ask the doctor or nurse to permit me to watch the show, i am really addicted to it. PLEASE OMOSEXY, LET IT CONTINUE OOOOOOO.

  • chizzy girl January 10, 2013 at 12:59 pm

I love Omotola as a movie star but dz reality aby scripted show is annoying and awkward. Is so unnatural and fake.she speaks so fast and laughs wen is not neede. Reality show is all about U,not travelling aspect only.If she’s not ready 2 include her family, den we are still watchn one of her movies. Apart frm where she narrates her dress sense is very poor. Because she’s my number1 movie star ,I will continue watchn.

  • wale January 10, 2013 at 1:01 pm

Its a good start, though not yet perfect. but i want to see Omotola Cooking for her family, and also more shots from her home than in jamaica today, london tomorrow. also we want to see her family more.

  • daniel james January 10, 2013 at 1:05 pm

I score the show 10/10, omotola is a brilliant and beautiful woman, seeing her do her thing is such a great privilege.

  • molarah January 10, 2013 at 1:05 pm

I think the show is as real as they come…

I don’t understand the fuss people are making about some of the parts looking scripted. If you watched the very first episode of Kimora’s show, you would agree it was scripted. I believe the people on the show are still trying to ease into the reality of being followed around constantly by cameras. And who wouldn’t? Even you guys that are complaining – admit it, your behaviour slightly adjusts when you realize there is a camera nearby.

So you’ve not gotten round to see the home front – cheer up, its probably coming up in the later episodes.

And people, ease up on the negativity. Hating brings wrinkles. Be happy!

  • julius January 10, 2013 at 1:16 pm

talk of beauty she’s got it, talent nko? she onpoint, family wise, her head dey there… omotola is an exceptional being

  • tope January 10, 2013 at 1:21 pm

I really don’t care what you guyz think but I must say shez really doing well! And for taking d bold step to begin a reality tv show. Thumbs up to her I love the show. So much!stop hating let’s support our own OMOSEXX!!!

  • damien January 10, 2013 at 1:22 pm

watching her show makes me really wanna see it over and over again, every minute of it is worth my time even though i hardly have time to seat an watch tv, but when it comes to omotola, i can do anything and deprive myself of anything to see it.

  • Sexxie January 10, 2013 at 1:25 pm

Omotola: The real me. An entertaining narrativeTV show hosted by an entrepreneur, an actress, a humanitarian, a songstress, a wife & a mother, Omotola Jolade Ekeinde period! Nothing reality abt her show. Wouldn’t have gone beyond d ‘pilot’ episode if it was on US tv. That said, she is a good actress no doubt.

  • deoye January 10, 2013 at 1:26 pm

Omotola, bi o lu agolo, aiye a jo, what ever you do, the world will love you cos you have carve a niche for yourself in this profession. there is none like you jooooooo

  • Amanda January 10, 2013 at 1:28 pm

  • tyna January 10, 2013 at 1:31 pm

  • gboyega January 10, 2013 at 1:33 pm

how is the show not real, can somebody me? our perception of things is quite different and we are all entitled to it, mine is that it is real, it show her real self and i am enjoying it to the fullest

  • kelechi January 10, 2013 at 1:38 pm

  • onyinye michael January 10, 2013 at 1:48 pm

I have known the name omotola just like as at the time i realise i am me, she’s been there doing great thing for close to 2 decades now, and still running the game, who can beat that? the show is just too sweet like the Yoruba people will say, o dun gan niiiii.

  • AMY January 10, 2013 at 2:02 pm

SHE HAS WATCHED TO MANY REALITY SHOWS AND IS CONFUSED ON WHICH CHARACTER SHE SHOULD ADOPT.VERY VERY VERY FAKE .AND THIS IS COMING FROM A VERY MATURED PERSON WHO WORKS IN TELEVISION.

  • Adedoyin January 10, 2013 at 2:11 pm

This is just Sad! I swear Nigerians are the most critical people on the planet! After I read about 20 comments I decided to go on YouTube and see for myself. Suffice to say that show is good. As good as any “reality tv” show. You think the Kardashan’s are being real? Please! She was as real as reality tv type person which means her acting was good! plus the lady even has such a sense of humour. Gosh! Half of these people trashing the show here have achieved next to nothing in the entirety of their lives. See how some can’t even type a simple straight correct line of English! Kai!

  • partyrider January 10, 2013 at 2:14 pm

Too scripted.its like watching another nollywood movie. and like someone said too much narration..the show is…blehhh

  • Floxy January 10, 2013 at 2:14 pm

@may u said it all jor even d kardashians or kimora dey show when dey wake in d morning well sha she is trying it isn’t easy but honestly i watch dat show to see more of her makeup hair clothes which are d d only perfect tyn in dat show

  • Daisy January 10, 2013 at 2:20 pm

I was especially surprised by the show’s lack of content. The fact that it was a so called reality TV show that didn’t feature her in her home, or show her kids or husband was a let down. Anyway, thank God there are always alternative channels to change to.

  • OMOWUMI January 10, 2013 at 2:26 pm

pls nigerians let always say the true, so dat the show can improve. is possible she is reading it.
the show is bbbbbbbbbbbbbbboooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg. if she rily wants to do a reality, let her be real. am sorry but i cant sit n watch it.

  • Jenny January 10, 2013 at 2:50 pm

The show should be titled: ‘OMOTOLA, THE FAKE ME. IS that a reality show or a documentary?

  • Mimi January 10, 2013 at 3:01 pm

    overhyped.

  • Bode January 10, 2013 at 3:04 pm

Chai! People are wicked oh! What???? Omotola’s show is Boring? Liars! People just love to drag people down sha! Anyway, whatever you say, it’s STILL the show with the highest rating on AFRICA MAGIC EVER! And Africa magic is still the most watched channel on DSTV! Kardashian’s show started slow. Omotola’s stated better. It’s very interesting if ure not expecting VIOLENCE!

  • Anuli January 10, 2013 at 3:06 pm

Okay people, wait up!!!! The reality industry in Nigeria is just starting up (i may be wrong) it takes courage to let a camera follow you all day and still act normal and you dont expect her husband and kids who are not always under the spotlight to act like they are used to this. Her show’s still in its early stage and given time, they’ll all adjust to it. I’m sure it was not effortless in the US when it first began.
Omotola, i’ve not watched ur show before but i do respect you and the fact that you chose to sail uncharted territory. I believe you’ll get better.

    • MRA January 10, 2013 at 3:32 pm

You just spoke my mind. I doubt if all reality shows started with a bang! Lets wait and see…….

    • hmmmmmmmmmm January 10, 2013 at 11:19 pm

      The best comment on here!!!!

  • Shola January 10, 2013 at 3:14 pm

I have not seen the show but I must say for Omotola taking the bold step to do a reality, thumps up to her. What is the defination of a reality show? Some of you are talking about the Kardashian’s like that is the only reality show on tv. In a reality tv show, you only let people see what you want them to see, hear and know. If the directors are okay with that, then they go ahead with it. In her case, they must be okay with it. The article also suggests that the first episode has the highest viewing rate on Africa magic and the show consistently attracts a high viewing rate. Even in America, shows that we love so much are discontinued because the viewing rate is low. Why don’t we say well done to our own when they are doing well instead of thrashing them. If you don’t like the show, then stay away from it. It is very obvious other people love it!

    • Social butterfly January 10, 2013 at 4:22 pm

INFACT shola may GOD Bless you! Really well said. I thought I was the only one who felt like this!!! I have watched that show from episode one and IM ADDICTED! Why do we love to tear our own in Africa? Omotola’s show is wayyyyyy better than some reality shows I’ve seen on E! I’ve heard most of my colleagues all discussing the show in the office on Fridays after Thursday’s broadcast. So I’m wondering where are all these people who rushed here to write its boring from?
I agree the producers need to chill on the narration but otherwise? NO OTHER SHOW IN AFRICA COMES CLOSE!

  • LD January 10, 2013 at 3:16 pm

I think she’s just dumb. Who told her Beyonce and Micheal Bolton are rockstars???

    • Rbaybee January 14, 2013 at 2:03 pm

As in… I was horrified by that too!!

  • philip January 10, 2013 at 3:30 pm

i tink the show is okay…….but i would really like to see her as a mother, wife etc……i tink thats where she got it all wrong….she has only showed us her life in the fab lane!….she should work on the nxt season.so it wud be more fun and realistic!.all the same its interesting…@ least she has set a very good pace!

  • Phoebe January 10, 2013 at 3:30 pm

Maybe they should change the show’s name.
I’ve not watched the show but from the comments, if “she’s always well made up” then the show is not about the real her.
I love this lady, good actress.

  • Godfrey January 10, 2013 at 3:42 pm

From the ads that preceded the airing, what I heard her say is; ‘When the make up is off and the lights goes off, then comes the real me’. This made me to expect something more original than the scripting that is being aired. Besides, I watched it with my wife and surprisingly just before I asked her, she asked me what is the show about ‘cos I could not connect to it after watching for over ten minutes. I like her daring spirit to do something new besides her regulars she is known for, but I will encourage her to make it more original and African so people can connect to it.

  • NELLIEDIVA January 10, 2013 at 3:51 pm

I only watched it once. Show was as nauseating as hell. After dt, I returned to my E! jare. No time :D

  • flo January 10, 2013 at 3:53 pm

I just watched an episode on youtube and UI’m hooked! I love Omotola! Very good showwwww!!! Scripted or not scripted! She is one to watch on your tv.. Pls i hope the guy on tv keeps downloading episodes .. I really love the show.

  • Scarlet Xianne January 10, 2013 at 4:16 pm

Jeez! Too many comments. Ah ah!

  • simisola January 10, 2013 at 4:39 pm

i wonder why some people will find it hard to appreciate when someone is doing good, we Nigerians most time beahve as if we know best. A friend of mine who came from the Texas with me down to Nigeria find it interesting, that makes me to wonder why someone out there is hating on omotola. She has done and still doing good, and we should respect that. If we cannot appreciate our self, i wonder who will.

  • anjorin January 10, 2013 at 4:42 pm

Omotola is the shining light of Nigeria and i am proud of her any day anytime. When she came with this show, she blew and still blowing my mind away. Right about now, i am getting ready to go home so i could watch the show.

  • hollaronke January 10, 2013 at 4:48 pm

omosexy,my candid advice is for you to fire your director and producer or whoever is mixing up movie and reality show for yah. i like yu o,dnt mess it up plzzzzzz! lolz

  • RayHot January 10, 2013 at 4:50 pm

She’s far from being real. It’s all acting, boring and she makes a lot of grammatical errors which are never edited. This so called show is not sustainable and I’m sure its life span won’t last for a year. Try something else aunty. Plus what’s it with her permanent undergrowth on her front hairs? Makes me wonder if her hair never relaxes… must be some steel sponged hair she’s got

    • sultry January 10, 2013 at 7:15 pm

u pple should take a chill pill.. we’ve only seen like 4 or so episodes so relax..she’ll probably feature her family later….and pls stop with the comparisons to the kardashians who have had like 6 or so seasons…she’s just started…dis is her first. abeg cut her some slack

  • bidemi January 10, 2013 at 4:53 pm

Omotola is really a queen and i love her show like i love food.

  • YEMMY January 10, 2013 at 4:59 pm

Show not a reality at all

  • bolokale January 10, 2013 at 5:14 pm

the truth of the matter is if we ask opinion of people about the Kardashians majority will be negative and don’t you for one moment think all this reality shows are real they are all scripted.Just much more than each other.I think Omotola is about to be the next Kim they hate they show but can’t stop watching. You’ll be shocked the amount of people that watch the show, same goes to the Kardashians.

  • munilicious January 10, 2013 at 5:53 pm

I’ve watched a few episodes and if u can get this to her I’d like her to know that the name doesn’t imply what the show is about. Its titled the real me yet she has not shot any in Nigeria/Lagos which is her base neither has she shot anything with her family so my question for her is “WHAT EXACTLY IS THE REAL YOU ABOUT LONDON,JAMAICA,GHANA ETC”???

    • Tesie January 11, 2013 at 2:13 pm

You exactly spoke my mind. Needless to talk about the “unreal me” in everything shez has being doing. She should have copied Kardashian well before coming up with hers. Albeit i love Omosexy but that won’t stop me from criticizing her mistakes.

  • anon January 10, 2013 at 7:06 pm

BOOOOOOOOORING! The show is so disconnected, it doesn’t flow.

  • Lele January 10, 2013 at 7:26 pm

I watched an episode and I was not impressed. A lot of grammatical errors and diction issues. As well as a generally fake representation of being real!

  • duh January 10, 2013 at 9:33 pm

Dat woman has money to waste. She has watched too much tv and failed to learn d positive stuffs. I know she wishes she was single sometimes. The thing wey dey hungry dat woman no dey naija. Very boring and fake. Focus on ur family and stop walking up and down busying for nothing.

  • Drew January 10, 2013 at 9:50 pm

I just watched the episode one on youtube. hahahhahahhaha omgoodness, reality show? So fake. So she’s beautiful and must by all means be a good actress huh? Some actress. Only in Africa. Won’t bother with the episode 2. Enough of the fakeness

  • Jess January 10, 2013 at 10:24 pm

I haven’t seen the show and have no interest in doing so but some of you really think over half of the “reality” shows on Anerican TV isn’t scripted? Okie. The Kartrashians and co are better actors than you think.

  • Idak January 10, 2013 at 11:22 pm

All liars will go to hell!!!

  • ayi January 11, 2013 at 12:03 am

I feel cheated. Nothing worth burning any of your waking hours watching. Hopefully. it will have a much shorter tenure than Dineo’s Diary. If this is Nigerian Reality, itz okay if SA takes over/

  • ARIJE January 11, 2013 at 12:32 am

I CANT HELP IT……THE SHOW’S SILLY. I do watch it, to see how fake she is, again!
I’ve even called her agbaya several times. Trying to feel like the kardashians.

  • tosin January 11, 2013 at 2:48 am

why would i be busy watching other people’s life when i’ve got mine to live. wouldnt it be wasting of my own life? thats just my cue, not hating

  • mabel January 11, 2013 at 5:05 am

The whole show is stage managed.

  • hamed January 11, 2013 at 9:24 am

Omotola is just like Beyonce, whatever she does, will be absolutely interesting. If it means that by just looking at omotola sleeping, i am satisfied by it, cos she is a screen goddess.

  • iyanya January 11, 2013 at 9:29 am

The show i saw lastnight and the previous ones are lovely, just seeing how omotola does her thing is enough for me. For goodness sake, we are not talking about an ordinary person here, it’s the biggest star we are talking about. I am loving every minute of it.

  • bello January 11, 2013 at 9:44 am

This woman na correct and her her correct without any doubt.

  • orija January 11, 2013 at 9:46 am

i saw the show yesterday evening and i must confess that it was interesting, now all i need do is to adjust my Thursdays schedule cos i dont wanna miss it any more.

  • cole christy January 11, 2013 at 9:50 am

just seeing her alone is enough satisfaction for me, omotola is a big brand, her name alone is one of a kind that makes me smile. just love everything about her

  • Theodora January 11, 2013 at 9:53 am

Seriously i love Omotola she is a very good actress and she is someone i admire alot, but if i am to speak to her she should stick to her acting and her singing, she is a great actress a lovely singer, but for reality tv………..no way……i watched it but it didnt keep me glued, i saw 2 episodes and i was tired.

  • Jummy January 11, 2013 at 12:03 pm

It does not show as if it is really. Most of the episode so far are just trips, trips. Can’t we have her typical day like been home, Nigeriaetc

  • uche January 11, 2013 at 1:56 pm

The show is big time crap

  • Creamy_Amie January 11, 2013 at 2:23 pm

    She looks real gorgeous. Wowwww

  • Dele bonsue January 11, 2013 at 2:24 pm

Finally watched the show cos of all the mixed comments it’s been generating. All I can say is people watch it yourself oh!!! I did and I’m thanking God I did. It’s one of the best things I’ve seen on african tv in a looooooooong time since the days of checkmate etc… That’s the kind of excitement it brought. I’m already a disciple.

  • lyn January 11, 2013 at 3:16 pm

Pls pls ders nothing real about dat silly show.maybe it should be called something else def not real.is dat all she does?who takes care of her kids n hubby?isn’t she a mother n wife as well?or are they not part of wat makes her real?how abt she being on set of a movie as an actress or somethings more realistic to go with d name of d show?besides how did mnet measure its viewership?yes it got alot of attention at d beginning but now I can say nobody watches or is in interested again cos it not what we expected.pls dey shud change d name or take it off air completely!

    • Roselyn January 11, 2013 at 8:02 pm

Abeg Madame speak for yourself. In my OFFICE we all sit at HR to watch that show! And my company is Big! We were all shocked last week when after the show, we turned around and saw our QRM. He too was watching! Love or hate it, people are watching.

  • Iy January 11, 2013 at 4:14 pm

There’s nothing real about the show

  • anjorin January 11, 2013 at 4:21 pm

people can be really funny ooo, is it not the same show i saw yesterday? damn, some Nigerians are pathetic, ain’t nothing wrong with the shoe joooo, infact i so much love it because we are talking about a super duper star here in the person of omotola.

  • Lulu January 11, 2013 at 11:10 pm

    LOL :)

  • Winny January 12, 2013 at 12:13 am

I didn’t know Omotola was this unintelligent she talks, expresses herself, gesticulates and laughs unnecessarily in conversations like a 5th grader, heck in one of the episodes she referred to a Blazer as a Suit and the Asian guys had to correct her. Embarrassing, this Reality show is exposing her real self indeed.

  • Anonymous January 13, 2013 at 10:35 pm

Ok lemme start by sayin dat, omotola’s is a very beautiful woman,n she’s sexy………….without slender thighs.but her show is awesome……….LY FAKE n Boring!!!!!!!!!!. It’s so obvious dat it is scripted, dere’s nothin real abt her show, she’s never shown us her house or kids,it’s always movin 4rm 1 country 2 another.finally, I have actually learnt dat the real omotola’s can b quite sassy, bitchy n rude!!!. Overall I don’t like d show n I stopped watching after episode 3. Wish dry had given dis opportunity to tonto or Karen of “BBa” wud have bin more entertaining. Guess I’ll be chilln 4 d next season of d kardashians ,no one can Eva b like dem.

  • K January 14, 2013 at 7:19 pm

She should bring the show to Sky UK. I want to watch too

  • Sunshine January 14, 2013 at 8:17 pm

All these “reality” shows are scripted. This one was just too fake, because it seemed almost like they did takes for several parts especially Faustina….. Somehow stars are more glamourous the less we actually know about them. She should stop now before she is overexposed.

  • Bidi bang January 16, 2013 at 7:21 am

Bwahahahaha I said it…this is beginning of her down fall….very soon she will be frustrated n desperate.

  • Tallesttp January 17, 2013 at 10:57 am

Honestly?is she being real? Is she a Briton? Y didn’t she do d show in naija so we can see her fryin dodo or jumpin okada or danfo.na for UK she dey form being real. Wats d essence of the show?having the show is nice but she ain’t being real

  • Aisha January 17, 2013 at 2:56 pm

We haven’t seen her at home with her family. She is a married woman, mother etc, and the only thing we are shown is her trips to different parts of the world. What’s real about that?

  • nneka January 21, 2013 at 3:21 pm

Pls o! If this is the real omotola someone needs to ask her how she takes care of her home(kids and Husband)cos she is never there!who checks their home work?sch performance?who cooks dinner atleast?who cares for her mans”needs” ?who makes sure that the family goes to church and dat the kidsa are well behaved?pls the show is BORING!

  • obvious January 21, 2013 at 9:55 pm

I am a US American I love Nollywood movie. I own more than 300 movie I must admit I have never seen the reality show but she’s a damn good actress she is my most favorite female actress and the movie industry. if she and her colleagues were to act here in America they would blow American actors out of the water the talent unbelievable I wish the rest of America could see what I see
