Interior Options Furniture Hosts Annual Open Day

On Saturday 3rd October 2009, Interior Options welcomed clients and guests to their annual open day. It was an opportunity for everyone to explore unique ways to ‘celebrate their space’. As a live band played; guests browsed, admired and purchased IO pieces. There was an address from His Excellency, The Consulate General Sig. of Italy, Antonio Giandomenico who was introduced by IO MD, Muni Shonibare. Overall, a great event and opportunity to promote enterprise in Nigeria!

Furniture Production: IO Furniture fabricates furniture for a diverse group of clients; from shops, hospitals, hotels, apartments, corporate head quarters to small firms and airport terminals. Our manufacturing operations are divided into sections: Carpentry workshop, Spraying and Upholstery.
Production Line: The workshop is structured to meet the individual and specific demands of our clients, both corporate and individuals. We take pride in our innovative use of wood veneers and laminates both domestic and imported, which gives a distinctive look to our custom made furniture.
IO Furniture only uses the best materials for this vital aspect of our operations. Paints, lacquers, stains and chemicals come from reputable and confirmed sources. Furniture is passed through rigorous process to ensure a smooth and enduring finish. It then goes into the drying room for 24 to 48 hours depending on the finishing so that the sprayed wood gets an even distribution of heat.
Carpentry Workshop: The workshop is structured to meet the individual and specific demands of our clients, both corporate and individuals. We take pride in our innovative use of wood veneers and laminates both domestic and imported, which give a distinctive look to our custom made furniture.
Upholstery: This section is the mainstay of our soft furnishings i.e sofas, lounges, armchairs, cushions and ottomans. Clients have the option of supplying their own fabrics, however we have developed a line of distinctive African and classic western fabrics, which are very popular.
Consultancy: Clients come to us to help create a specific look or feel they want in their home or office. Redecoration of kitchens and living areas are big growth area, as is maximizing internal space and the penetration of light through space planning. We do complete interior schemes for homes, offices and hospitality creating an integrated and harmonious yet diverse look.
Furniture Design: Our design department takes on site measurements and can design furniture to fit the shape of your space including any awkward nooks or crannies. In addition to classis pieces and a standard range, several distinctive IO Furniture pieces also exploit our rich African heritage with the use of African fabrics and local arts & crafts with our spin off company- ETHNIKI.
Contract Jobs & Project Management: Our design department takes on site measurements and can design furniture to fit the shape of your space including any awkward areas.
