Happy New Week! Hope you had an amazing weekend plus you are definitely going to have a super-amazing Monday for sure.
BN Spectacular Weddings is in Anambra State and the Nigeria’s Capital City Abuja today as we present you Ogochukwu Adimorah & Charles Okpaleke‘s stunning celebration of love.
The First Meet
Ogo and Charles met in church! Actually after church…The beautiful bride says “We met after evening mass in Holy Trinity Abuja. For Charles and I, we did not know immediately, we didn’t even notice each other at first. We were just guided by fate.“
For the proposal, it was a very well staged fête! The enterprising groom tells BN Weddings, “It took me 3 months to propose just because it took so long to get her ring details from her and customize the ring with James Allen. I took her to her favourite restaurant the same day as my brother’s birthday. I invited close family and friends and popped the question. She cried and playfully punched me and said YES ☺“
Ogo and Charles’ wedding festivities kicked off with a grand traditional celebration in the bride’s hometown in Anambra State. Gorgeous Ogo chose royal blue for her first look as she was revealed as the bride. The groom Charles stayed true to tradition in his attire which was personalized with a special crest marking the landmark occasion. His entourage of friends also stood out in their complementary Igbo traditional attire. With all eyes on her, the bride stepped out once again in a showstopping all-sequin look paired with a coral statement necklace. Igba Nkwu Nwanyi was completed as she sought out her groom among the large crowd of guests and handed him palm wine which he happily accepted.
On Saturday 10th August 2013, Ogo and Charles’ white wedding took place in Abuja and the couple said “I Do” in spectacular style! The bride looked amazing in her mermaid silhouette wedding dress with a dramatic train and intricate beading accessorized with yellow shoes and what can only be described as a glorious yellow & white bouquet of tulips, roses, orchids, calla lillies and crystals which she designed herself while the groom was dapper in his three-piece morning suit paired with a top hat. After their church blessing, the groom ditched the traditional wedding chauffeur and drove with his bride to the reception in a sleek convertible.
It was no surprise considering the groom’s role as the founder of Play Lounge in Abuja that the couple’s reception was a fun party! From the top-notch performance by American R&B musician Carl Thomas to all the dancing, it was a day to remember!
BellaNaija Weddings wishes Ogo and Charles a blessed and joyful union.
