DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRUE …mehn thats the beauty of America…you get into school you meet rich boy you date rich boy and rich boy may just wife you up….its hard to marry up in Nigeria unlike here in the cousin just got engaged to her bf whose family is smelly rich…how? babes went to Columbia …na so dey clash o

    • Soraya

      January 13, 2014 at 10:14 pm

Is that why your cousin went to Columbia? to nab a rich man? Remember in America as elsewhere, the rich marry rich, marrying up is rare indeed……

      January 14, 2014 at 12:10 pm

Erm, girl that’s not true. Those cases are extremely rare even in America as well. The rich hardly ever marry out of their class structure. That is how the world is and we just need to accept it and move on.

Then Mike Ezeronye’s mother will go ‘over my dead body’, providing the neighbouring village’s Igwe’s daughter (Tonto Dike) as subsitute. Mercy Johnson cries throughout the movie and Mike Ezeronye throws tantrums through out too. They eventually elope to Lagos and return for forgiveness after producing Mike’s parents grandchildren (the pacifiers). TOO GOD BE THE GLORY

Lam Lam; are you Miss LI BTW? She uses this rich marry rich all the time. Just asking. What do you expect? The mixing of bloodlines with outsiders? When these rich people go to their night meetings that’s when they choose their kids to marry one another. Poor people don’t go to those night meetings. LOL!
Ms Lala; I don’t really think it’s a hard and fast rule. To go to Columbia aside from being very bright, she must have some sort of money somewhere. If not, her in-laws may have overlooked whatever wealth just for the mere fact she went to Columbia. She has a bright future ahead in terms of fantastic job opportunities.

@LamLam what if rich marry rich? Why can’t you just be happy for them? Most rich that marry poor are unhappy as the poor only want them for the money there are barely any true love cases. Am happy for them, if anyone poor is un-happy being poor pray and do something about it. You destiny is also in your hands, work very hard to succeed.

Sade never disappoints when it comes to style. On the Naija side, she is my style inspiration. Usually covered, but still exuding sexiness. Love it. Where is the bride’s mother? Just curious. Congrats to the couple.

Sade is my fashion style inspiration too. She is always on point. Hadiza is pretty too, wish her and her hubby a sweet married life. Rich don’t always marry rich, it may also have to do with how much self-confidence you have. Its just that people of a certain income status tend to have more shared similar experiences and dont always have to explain their customs and mores the way they would to someone from a lower income background.

  26. Adaobi

    January 19, 2014 at 2:22 pm

I totally agree with BrokenInFlo, it is not all because of money sha, as when you have a certain state of mind, you will want someone who has the same state of mind. It could be with someone from the same class or someone who is willing to learn and enjoy that state of mind with you.
