McMeka goes on an “UpTown Exploration” with Pre-Spring/Summer ’15 Menswear Collection

Ladies and Gentlemen, we present the Pre-Spring/Summer 2015 collection by Nigerian Menswear Designer Rodney Emeka of McMeka titled “UpTown Exploration“.

The collection is inspired by the “contemporary man whose fashion indulgence Yin-Yang between sobriety and a quest for spunk”.

The collection speaks refined luxury and tailored lifestyle for the dapper man coupled with fine styling and attention to detailing. We love the classic backdrop to the lookbook with pastel and paisley walls, vintage elements and hints of gold adding to the overall luxurious appearance of the collection.

View the collection below and let us know which is your fave.

Men’s fashion is boring, its the same old suit in different colours, nothing special or new unlike women’s fashion where u have all sorts of patterns, styles, designs and layers etc even women shoes are more fun and exciting than men’s shoes, which are boring boring boring. (The male models are cute tho)

Yes, we get it. You are gay and you are naturally attracted to feminine things. On behalf of everybody that hurt you in your life and caused you to snap to the point where your trolling has no bounds, I want to say sorry. I hope you find it in your heart to get a life.
I am strongly against feeding a troll but let me just humour you for a minute. Men’s fashion has way more to it than same old suit in different colours. Pay close attention to detail. You have a lot of components that come into play. Some of the world’s top men designers play around with different cuts every season. The combination of cuts, fits and fabric is what makes a suit and there are infinite combos to consider. Strangely enough, some of the world’s top men designers and gay (probably gayer than you). Case-in-point: Tom Ford. So your own brand of gayness is questionable. Anyways, don’t mind me. Carry on with your trolling ways.

Very good effort. Perhaps the hems should have been an inch longer or since they are tapered, ditched the brogues/lace ups and then worn slipper loafers without socks.

As a female, I can rock that military-look jacket. Lovely colour combo.

The Caucasian guy has a Bradley Cooper look about him.

I’m sorry but some of the trousers are not neatly tailored, including the one in the first pic. I think it’s a good idea to get as many honest opinions and critiques as possible before launching.
