17 years after a major accident that affected his two legs, gospel artist Yinka Ayefele continues to thank God for saving his life.

This morning he took to his Facebook page to share pictures from the accident, as well as a picture of himself before the accident.

He also shared pictures from a family thanksgiving gathering as well as a message  with his fans.

He wrote: REJOICE AND THANK GOD WITH ME. the journey started exactly 17yrs ago, it was on Friday December 12th 1997. On my way to Abeokuta where I had that ghastly motor accident. it was indeed MY TURNING POINT. “ODUNMBAKU” I will for ever be grateful to you my Lord. Thank you all for your love, support and encouragement. When there is life there is hope.

See pictures from his family thanksgiving below.

This post humbled me once more. Had a slight argument with my boo this morning about how he gets so attached to his vehicle that the slightest scratch on it will make him go mad. I pointed out to him that “things are to be used and not people” more over nobody’s wealth, health or possession are guaranteed to them forever. He didn’t listen then at some point in time I just left him alone, dressed up and headed to work. Well, little did I know that I will come across this post today.

He is a great singer,he performed in my church dis last sunday,i didn’t knw his story, but he sang with gladness in his heart, now I can relate why he is so joyful, his story is miraculous

  11. When Ayefele came to COZA last sunday, the first thing he said was “If I had your legs, I would jump”. God is indeed awesome! He was driving a Volkswagen when he had 2 legs but God made him world famous when he lost his legs. Proverbs 10;22 says ‘The Lord’s blessing is our greatest wealth, all our hardwork adds nothing to it’. I dont know what you think you have lost, God can take care of you. mytestimonys.blogspot.com/2014/12/buki-olumide-through-years

Am always happy for your life, because no one can do such a miracle except Almighty GOD.
YOU HAVE TOUCH MANY OF LIVES WITH YOUR SONG. I PRAY GOD WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU ALONE. EVERYTHING YOU HAVE COMES FROM GOD, SO USE IT FOR HIS GLORY. THEREAFTER, SEE WHAT NEXT WILL HAPPEN IN YOUR LIFE.
