Hearty Cheers to Mothers as Baileys Nigeria Celebrates Mother’s Day with an Elegant Garden Party

Baileys Nigeria celebrated Mother’s Day in a totally unique way, treating women to a classy tea-party themed event which held in the gardens of the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.

The event was hosted by the Beat FM Baileys Boutique team of Stephanie Coker and Fade Ogunro, with mind blowing music by the fast rising Korede Bello “Mega Super Star” of Mavin crew and sensational performance by Seyi Shay.

The exquisite tea party had in attendance guests such as Banke Meshida-Lawal, Sasha P, Yvonne ‘Vixen’ Ekwere and so many others who showed up with their elegantly dressed mothers too.

The fun-filled event also provided daughters a platform to share their own version of “I am …because of my Mother”. The atmosphere was filled with emotion and love for mothers.

Seyi Shay I don’t know you but I feel like reaching out and giving you a cyber hug. Must be tough some days, facing the barrage of criticisms that you constantly get. Ndo o.

Forgot to say: Kudos to the event planners/designers- looked so tasteful and classy. Especially loved the lace parasols. Well done Baileys.

I’m laughing softly to myself because I note that the photo has now been taken down. Either someone from Seyi’s team put the request across or a kind BN staff member decided it wasn’t doing her any favours. And to be honest, when I first saw it, I knew it was going to generate all kinds of comments…

      Welcome to the new BN.

Your life must really be hard. Correct me if I’m wrong, mother refers to only peope who are married and have children. Some of us are single but we’re responsible for some young ones. If that is not mothering, I wonder what is.

I get almost heartbroken when I see comments like, your life must be hard, you must be bitter, you can never achieve what someone has achieved, you must be dumb/stupud, etc especially considering that you don’t even know who you’re talking to. Please we need to learn to express our disagreements with civility, without being abusive.

something just doesn’t feel right these days, where are all the normal / average young nigerian guys / men? Don’t mothers have sons as well? and why are all these social activities filled to the bream with ladies / women? where are all my hard working brothers who are not DJs / muscians / entertainers / God fathers? Something just doesn’t feel right these days.
