Corporate executives, celebrities, government officials, close family and friends gathered for the private viewing of “My Lagos Diaries”, a ten-year video documentary by Dr. Tony Rapu.

As Chairman of Freedom Foundation, he featured his work on the field with indigent communities in Lagos.

The intimate event which held at the Ford Foundation offices in Ikoyi, started with a photo exhibition by internationally renowned photographer, Kelechi Amadi-Obi. In his introductory speech, Dr. Rapu conveyed his passion for individual and community transformation. The audience was held in rapt attention throughout the evening as the documentary featuring the dramatic transformation of the lives of selected individuals unfolded.

The event was indeed very inspiring as we shared insight into societal issues and encouraged collaborative efforts of individuals, governments and corporate bodies to transform more lives.
