Pampers joins the Wife of Lagos State Governor, Bolanle Ambode to celebrate the first baby of the year while visiting three different health centres in the state, Badagry General Hospital, Amuwo Odofin Maternal and Child Centre and Lagos Island Maternity Hospital.
The first baby, a male child from the Family of Olumide and Aderonke Akande, was delivered in Island Maternity at 12:01am on Sunday, January 1st, 2017.
As part of its commitment towards baby’s healthy development, Pampers supported the Lagos State First Baby of the year program with 6 months’ supply of Pampers Baby-Dry to each mom at the three centres.
Diapers help baby sleep which enables their development, especially the ones with in-built lotion. Pampers diapers come with in-built lotion that will not only protect the baby bum but also means great value as moms will not have to put any cream.
Aderonke Akande on behalf of other two moms expressed joy and thanked Pampers for supporting the First Baby initiative.
The annual First-Baby-Of-The Year celebration started in 2000 and the Office of the First Lady, through the initiative, celebrates the first baby born from 12 midnight on New Year’s Eve.
