Apple set to Release New iPhone 7 and 7Plus Color this March with Proceeds to go to Global Fund’s HIV/AIDS Programs

First it was rose gold iPhone, now Apple has announced another color that will fly off shelves: red.

The red iPhone is a special edition collaboration available on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with a portion of proceeds benefiting The Global Fund’s HIV/AIDS programs.

According to Elle:

“Apple is the world’s largest corporate donor to the Global Fund, contributing to more than $130 million as part of its partnership with (RED), combining the global reach of the world’s most loved smartphone with our efforts to provide access to life-saving ARV medication in sub-Saharan Africa, customers now have a remarkable opportunity to make a difference and contribute to the Global Fund through the purchase of this new beautiful RED iPhone. Deborah Dugan, (RED)’s CEO, said in a statement.

The red iPhone will be sold for $749, and will be available to order in stores and online starting at 8:01am PDT on March 24.

This is a good color for a phone. I love it. OAN, any Bellanaijarian up North here? I’m looking to move up North for a volunteer role at any of the INGOs there – I have a couple of them I’m looking at. My job in the M/E unit of a CSO is over; the project ended. I’d like to be garnering more work experiences in the meantime. Please, anyone who would not mind accommodating should indicate so I’ll drop an email. Thanks.
