The Delta State indigene won the Mr. Nigeria 2014 contest and went on to become the first runner up for the Mister World contest that same year.
The International Relations graduate from the United States International University Africa in Kenya, shot into limelight when he won the USIU Pop Idol competition.
Emmanuel’s big role in film came when he starred as Femi, the lead character in one of MTV Shuga – an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign – series. Emmanuel is still an actor on the show.
Emmanuel also stars in other TV shows – My Flatmates, Dere, and Tears of Love.
He also starred in “Raw”, as well as the 2015 movie “Fifty” and “Ojukokoro” which is currently in cinemas.
Emmanuel is also the founder of the Emmanuel Ikubese Foundation. In 2015, the foundation launched a campaign tagged #ProjectRAW – Respect a Woman – which produced a short film on domestic abuse titled “Blackout”. The film starred Juliet Ibrahim, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Emmanuel.
