I tried the Cookie Jar out on my last trip home. I couldn’t afford all the mede-mede (as my Grandma would say) variety of cakes which were also kinda pricey. A slice of cake was going for about 1400 Naira, so I settled for a 500 Naira vanilla cupcake and I must say it was the tastiest and fluffiest cupcake I have EVER eaten. Nice and moist. Definitely 500 Naira well-spent even though I think it took three bites to eat the cupcake and frankly, that was me being miserly (as in m o nyin je)! LOL!
