Her Fans made it Happen! Here’s what you need to know about the M.A.C Cosmetics x Aaliyah Collaboration for 2018

After years of petitioning, Aaliyah‘s fans have succeeded in getting beauty giant M.A.C to push out a makeup line in honor of the late music star.

Aaliyah’s fans started a petition for a M.A.C line inspired by the ‘90s singer/actress and it got over 26,000 signatures.

The company made the official announcement via their Instagram on Thursday (August 24).

“Aaliyah is truly one in a million — an unstoppable icon whose groundbreaking work in R&B music and film inspires us all. Today we join her countless fans in celebrating her with the announcement of the M·A·C Aaliyah collection. You made it happen! Stay tuned in 2018,” the brand wrote, along with a teaser of the upcoming collection’s logo.

The beauty giant recently announced that the Aaliyah x M.A.C collection will be officially launching in summer 2018.
