Shakara Couture Fashion Training Series presents Professional Editorial Styling: a 2-week Intensive Course

A two week intensive training course in Personal Styling for the fashion industry, brought to you by Shakara Couture Nigeria.

Your tutors, Ewemade Bode Banjoko of Shakara Couture and Adebayo Oke Lawal of Orange culture will take you through the fast paced world of Editorial Styling and introduce you to one of the most exciting & rewarding areas of the fashion industry. If you are serious about a successful career in Styling, this hands-on course trains you to industry level in a practical environment.

With a thorough and experienced tutor, the course will be run in small groups, you will learn how to run the fundamentals of an Editorial Styling business with ease including, how to manage client briefs & consultations with success, price structure and several other vital topics. You will gain expert skill & develop impressive ability to work as a professional editorial Stylist delivering client services to exceptional level.

• A brief history of fashion
• History of Styling
• Image creation
• Creative styling
• Styling for runway shows
• Accessory Styling
• Art direction
• Creating a mood board
• Working on set
• Professional etiquette
• Interpreting client briefs

Amongst many others.

At the end of the course, a photoshoot will be held with models styled by the students and art direction given by the students as well. This final presentation will be evaluated by the course tutors.
