March For Our Lives: Thousands take to Washington to protest Gun Violence

Hundreds of thousands from all over the United States took to the streets of Washington in the “March For Our Lives” protest to demand an end to gun violence.

Young activists from Parkland, Florida, had formed the March For Our Lives movement after a school shooter opened fire in Marjory Stoneman Douglas and killed 17 of their friends in school.

People had flown in from different cities in the U.S. to join in the protest, demanding stricter gun laws from the government.

Those who could not travel protested from their cities, while some protested from even outside the country.

Also present were several celebrities, including Kanye West & Kim Kardashian West, Amal & George ClooneyYara ShahidiJennifer HudsonMiley CyrusAriana Grande, and Common.
