A Celebration of Love! Xerona Duke and Derin Phillips’ White Wedding Ceremony in Lagos #XD2018

The beautiful Xerona Duke and Derin Phillips also known as DJ Caise had their white wedding ceremony in Lagos on April 21st, 2018 after a series of celebration of their love. We have followed their #XD2018 love story from their engagement to their traditional wedding ceremony in Calabar.

Their white wedding ceremony which was at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Olive Tree Parish, Banana Island was attended by dignitaries like the Vice President of Nigeria Yemi Osinbajo, the First Lady of Lagos Bolanle Ambode, Governor Udom Emmanuel, Femi Otedola, Aliko DangoteChief Ernest Shonekan, Sam Egwu, Tony Elemelu and more.

After the church wedding solemnizations, the reception at the Balmoral Convention Centre had lots of sweet moments. From the bride dancing with her father to the groom dancing with his mother.

Xerona looked gorgeous in her timeless white wedding dress by Andrea Iyamah Bridal and the groom looked stylish in his blue Tuxedo by Kimono Kollection.

BellaNaija Weddings wishes the couple a lifetime of love, joy and peace together.

Jide is such a talented MUA. The wedding dress is beautiful!! Is Toyosi Phillips related to the groom? I thought RCCG banned beards on the groomsmen in their weddings, does that rule apply to only mainland people?

@Ify. Haba. You have come with this Mainland thing again o, God please let me be wealthy, prosperous and dignified and for those who are thinking all I do is pray. I work hard too. Seeest a man diligent in his works, he will stand before Kings and not mere men.

Congratulations to the couple. Its only poor congregations from local parishes that gets their wedding gown scrutinized and wedding thwarted but the rich gets blessed by Pastor V.P

LOL! I think that branch of RCCG was the VP’s branch before he became VP. Although, he may still have attended if it was somewhere else.

Congrats to the beautiful couple. Why did I think this was Lami Phillips’ family?

Andrea Iyamah Bridal – very impressive.

Would love to see a standalone picture of the cake. It looks impressive.

lovely gown did it look like 3 different gowns?? love the bouquet ..i especially like how natural her makeup is ..i don’t get how some naija brides cake their face with so much heavy makeup making them appear old and hardened ……HML to them

I think she had 2 different lace overlays and swapped them out and at some point she removed them and wore the dress without it. Very lovely and great idea!

Her dress is badass. Nigerians can waste money for sure.

Lovely wedding! Well, when money and money jam, tele nko?! These shoes again…we keep jamming.! They must be trying to tell me something (for whia? Even if I have the money I will not buy!) Please why did the bride’s father change his sput? He wore suit then changed to traditional? Is that customary culture-wise? If so, quite unusual.

Both her dresses were beautiful, but I would have opted for an antique gold or champagne gold for the second dress, not off-white.
