Haters! Suddenly lupita is your god! One lucky movie… Versus a tested Omotola who has played more heart wrenching characters howbeith in Africa. Omotola’s crime? Not doing a Hollywood movie yet. After all beyonce has sang of chinamanda so our Own Omotola is not worthy despite being a UN ambassador since 2005, winning virtually every movie award available and being a resoected figure internationally. Na God dash am…you need help!

This is some consoling news in the midst of all our sorrows at the moment as nation. God bless Nigeria a country of so many talented people. Congrats to all our Nigerian nominees. The song of the year category is so competitive. Torn between Surulere and Khona. They should tie if possible. All the best.

This list is rubbish. Why should we called it MTV Africa Music Award when all is dominated by South African and Nigerian Artist. Not even something worthy to watch.

  27. Nick POP

    April 20, 2014 at 11:39 pm

Those MTV africa music awards are nothing serious. they should have called it south africa-nigeria music award or MTV anglophone africa music awards. It’s all about anglophone singers, what about the other great african artists who don’t sing in english. Now they feel compelled to create a francophone and lusophone category. it is so biased. For me, the only real and authentic african music awards ceremony is the KORA.
