BN Style Your Bump: Patricia Bright Edition

Published

 on

It’s time for another edition of BN Style Your Bump, a series where BN Style looks into maternity style from different women to help inspire you! Our first edition last week was the Chrissy Teigen Edition (click here if you missed it).

Today’s BN Style Your Bump edition features Nigerian-British lifestyle vlogger Patricia Bright, herself and her husband Michael recently had their first daughter, Grace. Patricia’s maternity style was an extension of her style before pregnancy. She stayed true to her personal style with jackets, jeans, bodycon dresses and maxi dresses for holidays and vacations.

We’ll start with Patricia’s bodycon dress looks

Early stages here, she’s wearing a grey jersey knit bodycon dress with black lace up shoes, both from PrettyLittleThing.com

For this outfit, she’s wearing a bodycon dress from BooHoo but this time in camel and similar lace up shoes from River Island for that monochrome look.

For her baby shower, Patricia looked gorgeous in this blue dress accessorised with a gold chocker and simple makeup.

For Good Friday and her 4th wedding anniversary with Michael, she wore this white off shoulder dress to church with white cut out boots.

While on vacation in Barbados with her husband, she wore these cute maxi dresses.

This is my favourite one of the bunch. She looks amazing in this blackless white maxi dress, perfect amount of sexiness.

Keeping the sexy going, she’s wearing a black maxi dress here with a deep V-cut neckline

I really like the print and colour of this dress from For Love & Lemons. the hight waist cut and plunging neckline help flatter her maternity shape and adds the right amount of sexy to the outfit.

For her maternity style she wore a lot of jackets and they came in various forms. Leather, suede, denim, you name it, they all looked great on Patricia. Sometimes when you find what works, stick to it!

Early stage of the bump, I love the pop of colour in this all black leather outfit with the yellow sneakers from Asos.

Another sporty look with these white sneakers and black Adidas jacket.

All black outfit with a V-neck top, black sandals, black Chanel bag and a brown suede jacket from Asos which has to be one of her favourites after her leather jacket, you’ll see why.

Here she’s wearing the same Asos jacket but this time with blue jeans and knee high boots.patricia bright maternity style bellanaija april2016_10661092_975368045862695_1513828096_n

In another V-neck, she’s rocking a neutral colour palette with this grey, black and white outfit. Her gold accessories compliment the gold hardware on the jacket and her Prada bag.

patricia bright maternity style bellanaija april2016_10375594_412743268925321_818523410_n

Here she is in ripped jeans and ankle boots with this grey waterfall jacket that conceals her baby bump perfectly.

You’ll see Patricia has some closet staples which are essential for every fashionista. This ripped jeans and suede jacket combination is perfect with her black wrap top and gold accent chocker.

An all white look always works and this brown suede jacket makes it looks even better. Because white can sometimes make you appear bigger, the jacket helps to tone things down and the low neckline help give her a slim look exposing her décolletage.

Every stylish girl needs a denim on denim look and we like this one especially her boots.

patricia bright maternity style bellanaija april2016_12826172_210599245962565_1125948773_n

Another all white look but this time with her fave black leather jacket and leopard print shoes.

She’s also worn a few separates

patricia bright maternity style bellanaija april2016_12298801_922221374514049_834254510_n

A  beige high waisted skirt and V-neck top

patricia bright maternity style bellanaija april2016_12338987_719142038187454_201176932_n

A simple but cute outfit with a white wrap top with black ripped jeans.

With all these chic looks from Patricia, we can see she believes in chic closet staples, layering with stylish jackets and a bit of sexiness with bodycon dresses and an ample décolletage. Who says you cant be pretty and still be sexy? Some ladies believe that’s when they’re the sexiest! A few styling tips to remember some of which I gave in the BN Body Series, expose your slimmest parts and enhance your best features and you’ll be fine.

Hope you enjoyed this edition, look out for more!

Patricia is beautiful and mostly her personality. I like how her outfits looked simple and she’s not trying hard to look sexy while pregnant. It flowed naturally.

Patricia I’m older than your average blog follower but stumbled on your blog last year and I’ve been stuck , my favorite blog is the one you had with your mum, she inspired me a lot and you made a statement that made me pursue my license and go after my dream, you said your mum was successful in real estate and never needs to work for anyone.Congrats on the birth of your baby

Wow she’s beautiful. But how do people rock heels with pregnancy? Like I’m not even pregnant and I can’t go more than few hours, some heels sef few mins(just to walk into the event/program and thats all; I remove it)..

If only BN did their research properly Patricia was NOT born in Niaja she was born in London. LIB keeps making the same mistake regarding her place of birth as well. If you care to go through her playlist on her main channel she has a draw my life video where she tells her life story and she says so in it that she was born in London. Not that there is anything wrong with being born in Naija but just thought i should correct this.
