Audu Maikori Arraigned in Kaduna, Gets Bail

The Kaduna State Government has arraigned Audu Maikori, president of Chocolate City Group before a Magistrate’s Court along Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Kaduna, over alleged incitement to violence.
His lawyer and associate John Danfulani told Premium Times that Audu was charged “under Section 24 of Cybercrime Act.”
“He will appear before the Chief Magistrate,” Danfulani added.
Danfulani said Audu received bail on “very liberal terms”.
Dari Bayero, the Director of Publc Prosecution in Kaduna State and some police officers brought Audu to court.
Audu was arrested last Friday and was detained at a police facility. The Kaduna state police however, denied knowledge of the matter.
