Global music force Yemi Alade, kicked off the first leg of her Mama Africa World Tour in France, and it was amazing. The Effyzzie Music singer sold-out the iconic Le Trianon, Paris; days before the concert.

Armed with her Ova Sabi band and dancers, she delivered a electrifying 90 minutes set; performing songs from her arsenal of hits, and further wowed fans by bringing out international saxophonist Jean Baptiste Moundele for Na Gode, afro R&B singer Dil to sing the romantic duet Temperature and Marvin for the French version of Kissing. The concert also saw breath-taking performance from phenomenal French diva Djany; who opened for Miss Alade.

Illiterates be pitching black women against each other since 1780. This is why the African remains stagnant. Whereas Americans/Europeans are comfortable with letting each other be great, Africans always promote unhealthy and unnecessary competition, especially amongst women. Why can’t we have two African women dominating? After all, in the end, African music gets to the world. Africa wins! SMH! Y’all never see the big picture

This Yemi Alade is among the most overrated jokers in this country. Same bunch with Omawumi. If not for their promoters and sponsors, washing their image with cash and excess TV exposures, they would be as nameless as Anonymous.

Ordinary 10 naira talent dem no get, especially Yemi. They should just thank God for their music promoters / sponsors keeping them afloat. If na pure talent, na UNDER THE SEA dem for don sink reach.

Yemi, go and train your voice if you really wanna “blow” on your own, without promoters everlasting life-support.

And please, make more sense with your lyrics. Which one be you dey find Johnny.

By the way, my name is Johnny. Please stop looking for me. Stop accusing me biko. Ah no know any Uche and Nene. Ah no gi anybody belle. 🙁

“I’m not understanding”, cause you’re trying so hard to bring down the young woman who’s carving a niche for herself.

      Yemi, Keep soaring biko!
