UNILAG Dismisses Lecturers Exposed in #BBCAfricaEye #SexForGrades Documentary

The University of Lagos has dismissed two lecturers – Dr Boniface Igbeneghu and Dr Samuel Oladipo – who were exposed in the 2019 BBC Africa Eye documentary titled #SexForGrades.

Igbeneghu of the Department of European Language and Integrated Studies and Oladipo of the Department of Economics were found guilty of allegations of sexual harassment levelled against them following investigations by the institution’s Senate.

The university also stated that it’s reviewing its Sexual Harassment Policy to “prevent future occurrence”.
