Talk With Funmi enters the World of “Eko for Show”

All we have to say is that we’ll be sitting in front of our TVs (widescreen plasmas of course!) rocking the new Lagos uniform to watch this one – with our Birkin(s) beside us and Louboutins on our feet. For guys keep it BBC in an all white kaftan paired with aviators or wayfarers and ensure that you watch it in your Range Rover. Who cares if you can afford it or not? After all, this is Eko For Show
Here is the synopsis of the episode
Designer wear, Bentleys and boats – Funmi investigates the Lagos Big Boy, Big Girl phenomenon.
From plush Lagos salons, Bentley showrooms and what must be the world’s smallest permanently guarded Island – she tours the exclusive side of the city.
A must watch for sure!

OMGGGG! Now this I soooo wanna see.
Bella, aviators ARE ray-bans. But I get ur drift.
aviators arent necessarily ray bans. there are ray bans that are aviator style and other brands are aviator style as well. the most popular ray ban style isnt the aviator… its the ones popularised by James Dean in the film rebel without a cause. ok im done with dispensing useless bits of trivia. well done funms
Aviators are ray ban????????? You have been banned from leaving comments on this site indefinitely…. Aviators are a design cut of shades which can be made by any company such as Ray ban, Gucci, Tom Ford, etc etc etc…. Your comment is like saying stilettos are Gucci….
Next time ask before you comment..:) I don’t know you but Love you all the same!! (SMILE)
heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy plz i need to see this one ohhhhhhhh!!!!!!

http://www.talkwithfunmi.com/ has an overview. I doubt the full episode will be out. You might have to watch it on TV. Funmi’s got to make money (adverts) you know.
wow this is kinda sad, so many people in the same country(9ja) unable to eat even once a day while some people have excess & some waste it. Life is so unfair. hiss.. anyway they worked hard(or in some cases yahoo yahoo) to make their money…
very interesting preview, much respect to funmi iyanda!
I completely agree…The preview was very depressing to watch, imho.
hmm.. d critics in d video do dey really walk d talk or just talking d talk. Wud luv 2 catch d full episode from outside Nigeria, where can I do that? PS: wud ve luvd 2 c d preview wiv beta volume quality though, was really tough 2 hear…
So much controversy. Now listen up y’all, aviator is a kinda ray bans! Ray bans as popularly called means ‘banish the ray’ it was popularised by the military men,and later the pilots. Just in case you doubt, goggle it- ray- bans!
Mr. Nigeria is an ode. You think ur a fashionisto. Mumu. Thank you Ivory Tygers. The aviators as a spectacle design were created by Ray-Ban for the U.S. air force. Ray-Ban makes the original aviator and other design houses have copied it over the years. But when you say ‘aviators’ people automatically know ur talking about RB’s unless you specify another brand. As for Pam, thanks for your trivia, but it would have made sense if you actually knew your stuff. “The ones popularised by James Dean.” LMAO, that’s how to dispense fashion knowledge??? Those are called Wayfarers mate.
that’s everywhere in the world, everybody is entitle to spending their money the way they want it. if u don’t like it don’t listen..if u dont care for it go away!!
Actually, aviators AREN’T ray-bans. Ray-bans manufactures aviators. Ray-bans was the company that helped to popularize the style of sunglasses called ‘aviator sunglasses’. I googled it. You need to do a bit more googling too, hehe.
