Ademola Adeleke

The Nigeria Police Force on Wednesday invited Senator Ademola Adeleke to report to the force headquarters in Abuja.

Adeleke is to run for governor of Osun State under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday, September 22.

The police revealed that the senator and four others have been arrested, investigated and granted bail, but are being charged to court for examination malpractice, criminal conspiracy, impersonation, breach of duty, and aiding and abetting.

A statement released by the Police spokesperson Jimoh Moshood revealed that although the senator claimed not to have sat for the National Examination Council (NECO) exams, a result bearing his name was obtained from the council with Seven (7) Credits and One (1) Pass.

Nigeria Police is full of morons. This Senator has not actually committed any electoral offence. Nigeria electoral law stipulates that any interested Nigerian who wish to contest in an election must have completed a high school education.. There is no mention of anything about school certificate exam result. Let us assumed the man ( SENATOR ) forged his school certificate exam result No crime has actually been committed. The law was very clear on what a candidate must have before competing in an election. This Senator has the right to sit for NECO examination if he can afford the price regardless of his age.. What’s all the noise by the police all about. These Nigeria Political, rude, lying Police has no work to do they need to find something to do. A word is enough for the wise. I’m just saying.
